Daily Draw - King of Wands, Hierophant, Three of Rings

Twilight Realm: A tarot of Faery- King of Wands, Hierophant, Three of Rings

These cards eloquently tell a story about success and how we achieve it- passion and creativity, from the King of Wands, being in alignment with the Divine, as we see in the Hierophant, and willingness to do the work, as the industrious fellow in the Three of Rings.

This is my last draw with these cards for the week, and it is a telling one, so I think they will stay on my altar for a while as I ponder the beauty and simplicity of their message.

Short post today, because the cards have said it better than I could have.

These cards are from Twilight Realm: A Tarot of Faery by Beth Wilder for Schiffer Books.

  3. I have looked at this deck twice when I have been to London. I love the style of images and find it captivating. Think it is the whole black background thing. There were a few cards that just put me off; think it might have been the Queen of Cups and a few of those 'cute' fairy cards. But it looks fantastic on your blog. It glows, doesn't it!

  4. He certainly is a doll, isn't he Sharyn?

I think it's a beautiful deck, too, Beth. Thank you ladies for stopping by!

I usually post reviews on Saturday, Prince leN, but I did not get this one ready to go before I left town so early next week it shall be. There ARE some very twee cards which has kept me from using the deck before, but I didn't pull many of them. I think because I actively hoped they wouldn't appear for the most part they didn't. I really like the black background and think the cards pop.

  5. Wow that's a gorgeous deck!

I've started doing the daily draws (with the weekly decks) at the AT forum and it's a good thing too as now I can take out some of the decks that haven't seen the light of day in eons!
