Monday Majors: My Lens for the Week- The Magician

Although I greatly enjoyed, for the most part, and was quite challenged by, my week(s) with The Sirian Starseed Tarot, I was also looking forward to my time with this deck, Tarot of the Tattoo Age, which arrived near the same time.  I have been enchanted with this deck since I first saw images on Facebook, and remain no less so now.  It has a distinctly different flavor than the deck I worked with before this, and while I adore all the art, I am eager to see it working as a reading deck, because historically, I have had a hard time reading with decks that are done by many different artists, and this one boasts 78 different artists, though they are all tattoo artists, so there is a cohesive element to the artwork.

Tarot of the Tattoo Age- The Magician
I was delighted to see my Major Arcana for Monday- The Magician!  I am in a Magician kind of mood, being fully aware that I have what I need to get to where I want to be, but also knowing I need to pull it all together somehow.  I also feel a little rough around the edges, much like this Magician appears.  I'm not much of a drinker though, and less so since my back injury introduced pain meds into my life.  That's okay, I drink all of life up at an almost frenetic pace.

So as I do my self readings this week, I will keep in mind the attributes of The Magician- power, manipulation, the need to take creative action, tools being available.  The particular imagery of this card also reminds me that no matter how beat up I may feel by life, I still have those things at my disposal.  They can't be taken away from me.

I also think he is an auspicious sign as I undertake a new venture, as co-host of Unearthly Encounters with Mackenzie Knight, a Blog Talk Radio Show featuring all sorts of interesting people in the world of the paranormal, occult, psychic, and just generally the kind of stuff I groove on.  I have previously been a guest offering readings on the show, and we will now feature a short segment on tarot weekly, as well as regular chances to get a free reading from me.  I am very excited!  I hope you will join us on Tuesday evenings, if you are so inclined, or listen in archive.

This card, The Magician, is by artist Phil Colvin.

These cards are from Tarot of the Tattoo Age, a collaborative project self published by Flaco Productions, LLC.

  1. Awesome! Congrats on your venture over at Blog Talk Radio...so cool. :)

That magician is rather rough-looking...but I liked your interpretation.

Hope you have a good week, despite everything that's going on and the demand that can put on you.

    Hugs,
    MM

  3. I Finally Got Helped  !! I'm so excited right now, I just have to share my testimony on this Forum.. The feeling of being loved takes away so much burden from our shoulders. I had all this but I made a big mistake when I cheated on my wife with another woman  and my wife left me for over 4 months after she found out..  I was lonely, sad and devastated. Luckily I was directed to a very powerful spell caster Dr Emu who helped me cast a spell of reconciliation on our Relationship and he brought back my wife and now she loves me far more than ever.. I'm so happy with life now. Thank you so much Dr Emu, kindly Contact  Dr Emu Today and get any kind of help you want..
